And this time, it is expanding to SHORT FILMS.
Deadline Extended - Prizes and Judges Announced
Pitch your Short on Friday 22 November at the beautifully refurbished Balmain Town Hall. Then crew up, make the film and screen it at the Inner West Film Fest in April 2025.
This thrilling and distinctive event gives contestants 90 seconds to pitch their top-line ideas to a panel of mentors and connectors, who will offer invaluable feedback, making your film all the better for it. What’s more, you can win prizes!
Send through your project, including the concept, working title, synopsis and a 1-minute video pitch describing how and why your film should be made, to info@innerwestfilmfest.com.au by 6pm, Wednesday 20 November 2024.
The selected pitches will participate in the Pitch Competition in November, and the winners will receive mentorship from industry professionals to help develop your project to the next stage. There will be actors and crew in the audience, and networking afterwards, so you may even walk away with collaborators. PLUS, you will win prizes!

It is the contestant's responsibility to take any necessary precautions they see fit to ensure their idea remains protected.
See you there!
